Salamis Abacus Classes

Salamis Abacus Classes is over at Ratanada I 9. It’s a quiet enough spot where we teach kids how to use the abacus for math. We aren't a big school or a franchise. It’s just a local place where children come after their regular school day is over. The rooms are filled with the sound of plastic beads clicking back and forth. It’s a simple method, but it seems to help them get quicker with numbers. We’ve been at this address in Ratanada for a while now. The setup isn't flashy. We have some tables, chairs, and the abacus frames. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, a parent sees their neighbor’s kid getting better at math and asks where they go. That’s how we get most of our students. We keep the groups small so it doesn't get too chaotic. Teaching kids takes a lot of patience, and we have plenty of that. Some days are noisier than others, especially when they are excited about getting a right answer. We just focus on the lessons and making sure everyone understands the basics. It’s a humble business, but it keeps us busy and the kids seem to enjoy it. If you are walking around the I 9 area, you’ll probably see the kids coming and going with their bags. We like being part of the local routine here. It's just us doing our thing.
