Royal Indian Sandstone

Over here in Jodhpur, sandstone is a big part of life. Our business, Royal Indian Sandstone, is located at Raj Purohit Bhawan, P-17 on Golf Course Road, right near the Air Force area. It is a decent spot to work from, even if the traffic near the base gets a bit heavy sometimes. We are basically just a group of people who know a lot about the local rock and how to handle it. We spend our mornings checking the latest loads that come in from the quarries. The color of the stone is very important to people, so we spend a lot of time looking at different shades of red and tan to make sure they match. It is not a glamorous job. There is always sand in the air and on the floors of the office. We talk to contractors and guys who are building their own houses. We do not have a fancy showroom, just the office and the space where we keep the materials. Sometimes the heat in Jodhpur makes the work feel very slow, but we keep at it. Being near the Golf Course Road makes it easy for people to find us. We just try to provide the stone that is requested without making a big fuss about things. The building we are in, Raj Purohit Bhawan, is old and sturdy, which fits the kind of work we do. It is just daily work, moving heavy stuff and making sure things are right.
