Ranuja Stones

Our place is over at Plot No 13 in Rawat Nagar. It’s not too far from Dhanwantri Hospital on Main Pal Road, which is a busy area most days. If you're driving past, you’ll see our stacks of stone sitting out there. We started out small and just kept at it, year after year. The yard can get pretty messy with all the cutting and moving, but that's part of the job. Usually, the day starts early before the heat gets too bad. We have a few guys here who help with the heavy lifting because these stones aren't light. Customers come by, usually locals from around Jodhpur or people building nearby, and they just want to see the texture and colors for themselves. We don't have a big sales team or a showroom with air conditioning. It’s just us and the stone. Sometimes we have a cup of tea while talking about what kind of material would work for a backyard or a front porch. People appreciate that we don't try to push them into anything. We just show them what’s available on the lot that day. The dust is everywhere, and the noise from Pal Road never really stops, but it feels right being here. It’s a simple business, really. We get the stone, we keep it here, and we sell it to whoever needs it for their home.
