Rana Marbles

We run Rana Marbles from our godown on Banar Road. In a place like Jodhpur, marble is a big part of life, and we’ve been in the middle of it for quite a while. Our setup is pretty basic because the stone should really just speak for itself anyway. We don't have any air-conditioned rooms or fancy chairs for people to sit in. It’s a warehouse environment through and through. You’ll see the slabs stacked up and the workers moving them around with a lot of care. It’s a big space but it fills up fast when new shipments come in from the quarries. We spend our days walking around the yard, checking for cracks or flaws in the marble. We’re not here to give you a polished sales presentation. We just show you what we’ve got in the godown and let you decide. Some days are slower than others, but there’s always something to do, like organizing the offcuts or talking to the transport guys. The road outside can get quite busy with traffic, but once you’re inside the yard, it’s all about the stone. We don't have a mission statement or any of those corporate things. We just try to be fair and keep our stock in good shape. It’s a simple way to run a business but it has worked for us so far.
