Indian Stone Inc.

We've been setting up shop here at No. 11 Ramapeer Colony for quite a bit now. It is mostly just us dealing with the stone slabs and getting everything ready for whenever someone stops by. It gets pretty dusty around the yard, but that is just part of the job when you are working with these materials every day. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just keeping the inventory sorted and making sure the cuts are decent. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat while we are loading up a truck. The space is a bit tight but we make it work somehow. If you are looking for Indian Stone Inc., this is where you will find us. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace and the stones. Most of the guys have been here since the start and we know the routine well. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out, but we just keep at it. You might have to shout a bit over the noise if the machines are running. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles get a little high. It’s just a regular place where we get the work done without much fuss. If the gate is open, we are probably in the back moving things around. We don't spend much time on the computer, usually just handling the heavy stuff manually. My boots are usually covered in grit by noon. We just like to get on with it. It isn't a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
