Ram Sanehi Kirana Store is right near the bus stand in Bhopalgarh, Jodhpur. Being so close to the Hospital Road, we get a lot of different people coming through. Some are locals from around Bhopalgarh who have been buying from us for years, and others are just passing through because they are waiting for a bus or going to the hospital. We keep a variety of things because you never know what someone might need in a hurry. We have the standard grocery items like pulses, spices, and cooking oil, but also smaller things like soaps, pens, and batteries. The shop stays open for long hours because the bus stand area is always active. It can get quite loud with the horns and people shouting, but you get used to it after a while. Inside the store, it is usually a bit cooler than out on the street. We spend a lot of time weighing out items and packing them into small bags for customers. Sometimes the shop feels too small for all the stock we have to keep, especially when a new shipment arrives and we have boxes sitting in the aisle. It is a straightforward job, and we just focus on keeping the shelves filled with what the local community needs. We do not have any big signs or advertisements, just the shop front that everyone knows.
