Rajeshawar Fancy & General Store

Rajeshawar Fancy & General Store is situated on Ghasmandi Road in Jodhpur. This is a 342001 area and it stays pretty lively. We call it a fancy store because we keep things like bangles, hair ribbons, and some simple cosmetics alongside the regular daily items. It’s a bit of a mix. You’ll see colorful threads hanging from hooks and boxes of safety pins next to jars of biscuits. The shop isn't very wide, so when we have more than three people inside, it feels very crowded. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, boxes end up on the floor. Jodhpur is a city that loves its colors, and you can see that in the items we stock. The light inside is a bit dim because the shop is deep, but we have a couple of tube lights that do the job. We don’t have a computer system or anything. I just use a calculator and a notebook to write down what we sell. Sometimes people come in just to look at the new patterns of bangles we got. It’s a lot of small talk and small transactions. The street outside Ghasmandi is always full of bikes honking, but inside we just focus on the customer in front of us. It’s a humble place that’s been part of this road for quite a while.
