Raj Dadiji Store

Raj Dadiji Store is found right at Jalori Gate in Jodhpur. We are directly across from the Nagar Nigam office, so it is a very busy area. There are always people going into the office or coming out, and many of them stop by our shop. We keep a variety of items that people might need during their day. It’s an old-fashioned kind of store. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning or bright lights. Jodhpur is known as the blue city and it has a lot of history, and being near Jalori Gate feels like being in the middle of it all. I’ve been running this place for quite some time now. It’s just a small shop where we try to keep the basics in stock. Sometimes it’s a bit disorganized because we have so many different things in such a small space. We don’t really do any promotion. People just see the sign and walk in. The traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes with all the horns, but it’s part of the job. We know most of the people who work in the offices nearby. They come in for their daily supplies or just to say hello. It’s a humble business. We just do our best to stay open and keep the shelves full for whoever needs something. The days are long but we don't mind the work.
