Our shop is right on Main Pali Road, directly across from that big India Bulls Mega Mall. If you know where Jhalamand Circle is, you are basically right at our doorstep. It’s a loud area with all the traffic, but it keeps things interesting. Inside, we have rows and rows of tiles stacked up. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. People come in looking for stuff for their kitchens or bathrooms, and we just show them what’s in stock. Sometimes we have tea while they decide. We’ve seen the whole area change since the mall went up, but we’re still here doing the same thing. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door, and other days everyone comes in at once. We don't do much advertising; mostly people just see our sign when they're driving toward the circle. The guys who work here have been around for a while, so they know which tiles are heavy and which ones break easily. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If a tile has a chip, we tell you. That’s just how we do things here on the road. It’s a living, and we enjoy meeting the different people who are trying to fix up their homes.
