Radhey Kishan Stone

Out here at Radhey Kishan Stone in Kali Beri, the days usually start early before the sun gets too hot. We are located in Soda Ki Dhani, right across from Patwal Bhavan in the Sursagar area. It is a place where you will always find a bit of dust in the air because of all the stone work going on. We spend our time moving slabs and making sure everything is where it should be. It is heavy work and my hands are usually rough by the end of the week. Sursagar is known for its stone, so we fit right in with the rest of the yards around here. You can see the trucks coming in and out all day long. Sometimes the road gets a bit crowded but that is just part of the job. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a small spot where we sit down with a register and some water. Most of our visitors are local builders or people looking to fix up their own homes. We just talk to them normally and show them what we have in the yard. It is simple business, really. We don't use big words or try to sell something nobody needs. If you walk past Patwal Bhavan, you can’t miss us. It’s just us doing our thing day after day in the sun, making sure the stone gets where it needs to go.
