Down in Boranada, specifically in the IV Phase, you’ll find Pelican Grani Marmo Pvt. Ltd. We are at plot E-847. This part of the industrial area is always busy with stone work. You can hear the saws and the loaders all day long. We work with granite and marble, which is heavy, dusty work, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our yard is usually full of slabs waiting to be moved or processed. It isn't a clean, white-collar environment. There’s stone dust on everything, including our boots and the office chairs. We don't put on airs here. We just show up, do the cutting or the shipping, and go home. People know where to find us if they need stone for a project. The sun gets pretty hot out here in Phase IV, so we try to get the hardest work done in the mornings. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the quality of the stone decent so people keep coming back. Our office is just a small room off the side of the main area. It gets the job done. We’ve been at E-847 for a while and we know most of the neighbors. It's a community of workers out here. Sometimes the forklift gives us trouble, but we manage to get the slabs loaded one way or another. It’s honest work and we like being out in the Boranada industrial hub.
