Shree Naveen Saree

Our shop, Shree Naveen Saree, sits over at C-85 Dharam Narayan Ji Ka Hatha in the Paota area. It is one of those places you might miss if you are driving too fast. We have stacks of sarees everywhere. This is because we keep getting new stuff in and don't always have the shelf space. It is a family thing, really. My uncle started it. Now we just keep the doors open every morning. People from around Paota come in looking for something for a wedding or just a regular day. We show them whatever we have on the counters. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the road outside, but we try to keep the fabrics clean. We aren't big on fancy displays. Most of our customers know us by name anyway. Sometimes we sit and have tea with the regulars while they look through the colors. It is not a high-pressure place. If you find a saree you like, great. If not, we probably have something else arriving next Tuesday. The building itself is old. However, it holds a lot of memories for us. We just keep folding and unfolding clothes all day long. It's honest work and it pays the bills. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop here in the Hatha. We just serve the local folks.
