Past 'N' Present

Our place, Past 'N' Present, is located in the Basni industrial area, specifically in the 2nd Phase on Gali No.7. It is a bit of a dusty part of town because of all the factories nearby. We have two units, F-243 and 244, which gives us enough room to keep our supplies and the finished pieces separate. The name kind of explains what we do, mixing older styles with things people want today. The workshop is always noisy. If it isn't the sound of hammers, it is the sound of the radio playing in the background to keep us going. We have a few older workers who have been doing this for thirty years and some younger guys who are still learning how to hold a tool properly. It is a good mix of experience. We do not have air conditioning, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the alley. Sometimes a stray dog comes in to sleep in the shade, and we do not mind. We are not looking to become a giant company. We just like making things that look decent and last a long time. Every day is pretty much the same: we come in, drink some tea, work until the power goes out or the sun sets, and then go home. It is honest work and it feels good.
