Fitness Studio

Our place, Fitness Studio, is located right on Paota B Road. It’s a straightforward gym, nothing like those huge chains you see in the city center with bright neon lights and fancy juice bars. We just have the basic equipment that people need to stay moving. There are some weights, a few benches, and a couple of machines that have seen a lot of use over the years. We started this because we wanted a place in the neighborhood where people could just come in, do their workout, and go about their day without any drama. The floor is made of that heavy rubber matting, and it usually smells a bit like sweat and cleaning spray, which is how a gym should be. We spend a lot of our time making sure things are put back in their place, though people sometimes leave weights scattered around. It’s a bit of a small space, so it can get crowded in the mornings when everyone is trying to get a session in before work. We don't have trainers walking around in matching uniforms. Usually, it’s just one of us sitting at the small desk near the door or helping someone with their form if they look like they’re struggling. We don't promise any miracles here. It’s just a room with some heavy things to lift. We like the crowd that comes here; it’s mostly just people from the nearby houses who have been coming for years. It’s a good, simple community spot on Paota B Road.
