Christmas Gift Box

We spend a lot of time over here at No. 60 Bhagvan Mahaveer Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Pal Balaji and honestly, there’s always something to move around. Christmas Gift Box is really just a bunch of us working with cardboard and tape most of the day. The space is filled with stacks that reach the ceiling sometimes. You can hear the traffic outside all afternoon. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to see what we are doing with all the red and green paper. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workroom where we get things sorted. The floors get dusty from the packing materials and we spend a good amount of time sweeping up. There’s a tea stall not too far away that we go to when things get too hectic. We’ve been at this address for a while now and everyone around here knows where we are. It’s just how it is. Some days are slower than others but usually, we are just trying to keep the boxes organized so we don’t trip over them. It gets hot in the afternoons but once the sun goes down, it’s not so bad. We just keep the doors open and get through the list of things that need to be done. It’s a regular job and we like the routine of being here every day. The shelves are a bit crooked and the light flickers in the back, but it works for us.
