Namdev General & Cold Drinks

We have been running Namdev General & Cold Drinks for quite some time now right near the Sabji Mandi in Bhopalgarh. It gets pretty busy here since the market is just a stone's throw away. Most people stop by after buying their vegetables to grab a cold soda or some snacks for the kids. The weather in Jodhpur gets really hot so the fridge is always running to keep the drinks cold. It's a small place but we try to keep the basic things people need every day. Sometimes the shelves get a bit messy when it's crowded but we fix it when things quiet down in the afternoon. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s just how things are in this part of Bhopalgarh. My cousin helps out when I have to go pick up more stock from the main town. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. Just a regular shop where you can find biscuits, soap, and cold water. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the old ice box. It’s hard work standing here all day but seeing the regulars makes it alright. We’ve stayed in this same spot for years now. If you are passing by the Sabji Mandi you will see us there. It is just a normal life for us here in Rajasthan. We don't want anything too complicated or big for the future.
