M.K.P. Sandstone

M.K.P. Sandstone is based at Plot No.-446 in the Fidusar Chopad area. We are located right near the Electric Power House, which is the easiest way to tell people how to find our yard. Since we work with sandstone, the place is always a bit dusty and there are stacks of stone blocks everywhere you look. It’s a physical job and it gets very hot out here during the day. We don’t have a big polished showroom. Instead, we have a large yard where the cutting and loading happens. The machines for slicing the stone are quite loud, but that’s just the way it is in this industry. Most of the guys here are used to the heavy lifting and the grit. We focus on getting the stone ready for whatever project it’s going to. Fidusar Chopad is a busy area for this kind of trade. We don't spend time on fancy brochures or mission statements. We just let the stone speak for itself. Some days are busier than others depending on how many trucks are coming in. We keep a simple office on the plot to handle the paperwork, but most of the action happens outside. It’s a straightforward business and we’ve been at this spot for a good while. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done with the material we have.
