Sk Marble & Granite

We are based over at G-27 No. 28 & 31 in Stone Park. If you know the 9 Mile Circle area, you know it is where a lot of the heavy stone work happens around here. Sk Marble & Granite is just our small operation tucked away in that corner. It’s mostly just us moving slabs around and keeping things organized for the folks who come by. People stop in when they are looking for a specific cut or just want to see what kind of granite is sitting in the yard today. We spend a lot of time out there in the heat, honestly. It is a lot of lifting and shifting. The address is a bit of a mouthful with all the plot numbers, but once you get to the Stone Park entrance, it’s not too hard to find us. We keep a variety of blocks and slabs, mostly marble because that is what most people are asking for lately. It gets pretty loud with the machinery running nearby, so usually we are just wearing our ear protection and getting on with the day's tasks. There is nothing fancy about the office part of the building. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a few dusty samples. We like it that way. It is just honest work. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, especially when the wind picks up near the circle. We just try to keep the inventory moving.
