Bhansali Industries

Out here in Jodhpur, specifically in the Basni area at E-375, M.I.A. Phase II, things move at their own pace. Bhansali Industries has been part of this industrial landscape for a good while. The mornings start with the sound of the machines warming up and the shutter being rolled up. It is a dry heat in Rajasthan, so we keep the water coolers running all day long to stay cool. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at, just solid walls and a lot of metal and tools lying around. We have a handful of workers who have been with us for years. They know the rhythm of the machines better than anyone else here. We mostly focus on getting the orders out on time without making too much of a fuss. Basni is a busy place with plenty of other factories nearby, so there is always a lot of traffic and the sound of hammers or drills in the distance. We sit in a small office corner to handle the bills and the phone calls. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside on the benches for a bit until it comes back. It is simple work, really. No one wears suits here. We wear clothes that we do not mind getting grease or oil on. The address is easy to find if you know Phase II well enough. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and making sure things are right before anything leaves the gate.
