R. B. Stones

R. B. Stones is situated at G - 34 & 35 in the Stone Park on Mandore Road. It is a big area dedicated to stone work, so there is always the sound of cutting and grinding in the air. We are right near the National Law College, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. The park is full of various businesses, but we just stay focused on our own yard. We have two plots, so there is enough room to keep a decent variety of stones. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving things with the crane. The sun in Mandore can be really harsh, especially in the middle of the day, so we try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. We don’t have any fancy signs or big displays. The stones speak for themselves when they are lined up in the yard. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or locals who are building their homes. We give them a fair price and show them what is available. Sometimes the inventory is low and we have to wait for the next batch from the mines. It is a simple business, really. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Being near the college means there are always students walking around, which adds a bit of life to the industrial setting of the stone park.
