Mahaweer General Store

Mahaweer General Store is located right by Kaluram Ji Ki Bawari on Soor Sagar Road here in Jodhpur. If you live around this side of town, you probably know the spot. We have been here for a while, just selling everyday things that families need. It’s a small shop, and we try to keep the shelves stocked with everything from soap to tea leaves. Jodhpur can get really hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time keeping the shop cool and serving people who want to get their shopping done quickly. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It's just me and sometimes my brother helping out. People stop by on their way home from work or while they are out walking. The 342003 area is home to us, and we know many of the families who live nearby. We don’t really do any advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are. Sometimes the supply truck comes late and we have to wait around, but that’s part of the job. We keep a ledger for the regulars, and we try to make sure we have the specific brands people in this neighborhood prefer. It's a busy life, but it’s what we know. The store is just a part of the daily routine for most folks on Soor Sagar Road. We hope to stay right here for a long time and keep serving the neighborhood just like we always have since we first opened.
