Maa Bhawani Leather Art & Craft

We’re over in Kabir Nagar, right across from Snehil Garden on Kaylana Road. It’s easy to find us if you know where the garden is. Our shop, Maa Bhawani Leather Art & Craft, is where we handle all our leatherwork. You can usually smell the leather as soon as you walk in the door. It’s a strong scent, but we’re used to it. We spend our hours cutting, stitching, and finishing various items. The place is a bit crowded with rolls of leather and benches. We don’t have much in the way of decoration; the walls are just covered with tools and patterns. It’s a working shop, not a gallery. Sometimes the floor is covered in scraps by the end of the day. We try to keep it organized, but work comes first. We’ve been in this Kabir Nagar spot for some time now. It’s a good neighborhood, and being near the garden means there’s often people walking by. We aren't trying to be fancy or corporate. We’re just local people making things that last. If you come by, you’ll likely see us hunched over a workbench. We don’t talk much when we’re focused, but we’re always happy to show someone what we’re working on. It’s just us, some leather, and the tools we’ve used for years. We do what we can with the skills we have. It’s a good way to spend the day and stay productive.
