Dimpal Leather Crafts

Dimpal Leather Crafts is over at K-87 in Hudcco Quarter, right near the Police Chowk in Pratap Nagar. You can usually tell you're close because of the smell of the leather and the sound of the tools. It’s a busy workshop, not a quiet office. There are scraps of material all over the floor by the end of the day. We try to keep things in order, but when we have a lot of work, it gets pretty messy. Being near the Police Chowk makes it easy to give people directions. The space at K-87 isn't huge, so we have to stack things up high. We’ve got some old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still work better than the new ones we tried once. The light isn't great in the back corner, so we use a couple of extra lamps. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know exactly where everything is kept. It’s hot in the summer because we don't have much ventilation, but we leave the door open to get a bit of air. Pratap Nagar is a good area for us, and the neighbors don't mind the noise too much. We aren't doing anything fancy, just putting in the hours to get things made. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
