Laxmi Fancy & General Store

Laxmi Fancy & General Store is tucked away in Jodhpur. You can find us right behind Anand Cinema. This is the Mohalla Beriya area, which is usually quite active. The 342001 area code covers this whole neighborhood. I run this shop with a mix of fancy items and basic daily goods. It is a bit of a crowded space because we try to fit a lot on the shelves. You will see things for the home and some decorative bits too. Being near the cinema means we get a lot of people just walking by. I see the same folks every morning when I open up the shutters. The shop has a particular smell of soap and dry goods. It is not a polished place with bright lights. It is more of a traditional corner shop. I spend a lot of time rearranging things so people can see what we have. Sometimes the kids come in after school for small treats. Other times it is the older neighbors looking for something specific for their kitchen. It is a simple life here in Mohalla Beriya. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where you can talk to us face to face. Jodhpur is a hot place, so we appreciate the shade the building provides in the summer. We just stay here and do our work day after day. It is honest work and it keeps the community going.
