Jitesh Marbles

Jitesh Marbles is located right on Pal Link Road, directly across from the Radha Krishna Mandir. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows the temple. We have been here for a good while, and our yard is usually overflowing with different types of marble and stone. You can see the stacks from the road if you are driving by. It’s a bit of a messy place, to be honest. There is stone dust on everything, including the old desk we use for paperwork. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. It’s usually just a couple of us here helping whoever walks in. We talk about the different colors of the stone and how they look when they are wet versus dry. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving the pieces so people can see the patterns underneath. The traffic on Pal Link Road is always moving, but inside the gate, we just focus on the task at hand. We aren't looking to be the most famous shop in the city, just a place where you can get a fair look at some decent stone. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoons when things quiet down. It’s a simple life and we are happy with it. We just take things one slab at a time and try to keep the place running.
