Jai Jhulelal Provision & Cosmetic Store

Our shop, Jai Jhulelal Provision & Cosmetic Store, is right there at Jaljog Circle in the Sardarpura area of Jodhpur. We are positioned directly opposite the Nokia showroom, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. We keep a mix of general grocery items and some basic cosmetics. It is a small place but we pack a lot into it. People around here usually drop by for small things they ran out of at home, like a soap or some shampoo. Jodhpur is a busy city and this circle always has cars and bikes going around. I usually sit at the front and watch the street while waiting for customers. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t really do any big marketing or anything like that. We just open up and wait for the neighbors to come in. The shelves are mostly filled with things that stay in demand all year. Sometimes kids come in for snacks and sometimes it's someone looking for a specific face cream. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside when there are more than three people, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a local spot where everyone knows everyone else. We just want to keep things going as they are. The sun sets early in the winter but we stay open late.
