Harish General Store

We have been running Harish General Store here at Shop No 5/210-A in Jawaher Nagar for quite some time now. Every morning starts pretty much the same way, with me coming in early to pull up the metal shutters and sweep the front step. It’s just a small local shop, nothing fancy at all. We mostly stock the basics that people around here need, like milk, bread, soaps, and snacks for the kids. The shelves are a bit crowded, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually have it tucked away somewhere. Most of our customers are neighbors who have lived in Jawaher Nagar for years, so we know most of them by name. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a few of us making sure things stay stocked and the orders come in on time. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late, which can be a headache, but we manage. In the evenings, it gets a bit busy when people are coming home from work and want to grab something quick for dinner. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks across the counter. It is a simple life and a simple business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop here on the corner where we keep our records in a ledger and try to keep everything organized.
