Gyanam Institute

If you are looking for us, we are on the first floor of Mangal Tower. It is right in Ratanada, which is a busy part of Jodhpur. We are directly opposite the Vishnoi Dharmashala, so that is the landmark we tell everyone to look for. Walking up the stairs every day keeps us moving. The office isn't very big, but it fits what we need. We have the classrooms partitioned off with some basic plywood. Jodhpur can get very dusty, so we are always dusting off the tables before the students arrive. There is a lot of traffic on the road outside, especially with the dharmashala being right there. People are always coming and going. We don't have a big reception area or fancy uniforms. Usually, one of us is sitting at the front to say hello and mark the attendance. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the lessons. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. It’s a practical space. We’ve got some old cupboards filled with old files and extra pens. Most of the families around here know us by now. We just do our work, day in and day out, without making a big fuss about it. It’s just a regular Jodhpur institute where things get done in their own time and we try to stay helpful.
