Gajanan Marble And Granite is situated at Plot No.14 in Raj Nagar. We are very close to B R Birla Public School, so we hear the school bells and the kids playing throughout the day. It is a bit quieter here than in the main market, which we like. We have a lot of space in our plot to show off the different granite slabs we have in stock. The rain is the only thing that really slows us down because it makes the ground muddy and the stones slippery. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the edges and making sure nothing is cracked. It is a family-run kind of feeling here, even if we have some staff to help with the heavy lifting. We don't use any fancy software to track things; a lot of it is just written down in our notebooks. Raj Nagar is a nice area and many people from the nearby houses come by just to see what we have. We try to keep things organized, but with stone blocks, there is always a bit of a mess. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time and we all know the routine by heart. We start the day with a small prayer and then get to work. It’s not a complicated business, just moving stone from one place to another and making sure people get what they asked for.
