Durga Kirana & Provision Store is located on Sabji Mandi Road, right near the Manchapuram Mandir. Being in Madhuban Colony means we are right in the middle of a busy neighborhood in Jodhpur. Our address is 10/47 and we have been here for quite some time now. Most of the people from Basni Phase 1 stop by when they are heading to the temple or coming back from the market. It is a loud area with all the vegetable sellers nearby, but we like the energy. The shop has all the basic provisions like dal, rice, and oils that local families use every day. We spend a lot of time counting stock and making sure the bags are tied properly. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always cleaning the counters. It is just a small local business run by people who live nearby. We know most of the kids who come in for a quick snack after school. The heat in Jodhpur can be tough, but the stone walls of the shop help a bit. We do not do anything fancy here, just sell what people need for their homes. Every morning starts early with the temple bells ringing nearby. It is a good place to be, even if it gets a bit hectic on weekends. We just try to keep the shelves full and the scale working right. There is always someone coming in for a chat or a small bag of sugar.
