Omega Electronics

If you go to the SS Tower near Akhalia Circle on Chopasni Road, you’ll find Omega Electronics up on the first floor. This is a pretty busy part of town, so there’s always a lot of noise from the traffic down at the circle. We’ve been set up in this building for a while now. The office isn’t very big, and it’s usually full of boxes and spare parts. We do a lot of our work at the benches, surrounded by tools and wires. It’s not the cleanest place, as there’s always a bit of solder or some dust around, but that’s the nature of working with electronics. We don’t have any fancy displays or a big showroom. Most of our day is spent fixing things or checking components. It gets quite hot in Jodhpur, so we rely on the old AC unit quite a bit, even if it rattles a lot. We’re just a small team of people who know their way around a circuit board. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up from what they're doing. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't put much stock in looking corporate. We just want to make sure the things that come in broken leave here working again. It’s a steady kind of life, and the view of Akhalia Circle from the window is always interesting.
