Chanda Minerals

Chanda Minerals is based out of F-A-24-C in the Marudhar Industrial Area. It’s a busy place with a lot of dust and noise, which is pretty standard for an industrial zone. We’ve been at this plot for quite some time. The yard is usually full of materials waiting to be moved. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, getting our hands dirty. The office is just a small room at the front where we keep the ledgers. We don't use much technology beyond what’s necessary. Most of the day is spent checking the loads and talking to the drivers. The Marudhar area has a lot of similar units, but people know where F-A-24-C is. We try to keep our area tidy, but it's a constant battle with the minerals. It’s an honest living. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for years. We don't make big promises; we just do the work as it comes in. The sun sets behind the rows of factories, and that’s usually when we start wrapping things up for the day. It’s just Chanda Minerals, working away in our little corner of the industrial area. We hope the rains aren't too bad this year because the yard can get quite muddy when it pours. We just take it one day at a time here. Every season brings something new.
