Bharat Provision Store

Bharat Provision Store has been sitting here in the Chopasni Housing Board area for quite a while now. If you know the 1st Pulia landmark on Chopasni Road, then you probably know where we are. It is not a fancy place with bright neon signs or anything like that. We just have the usual things people need for their kitchens and homes. The shop stays pretty busy in the mornings when everyone is out getting their milk and bread. I usually spend my time moving heavy sacks of grain around or making sure the shelves don't look too empty. Jodhpur can get really hot, so the ceiling fan stays on all day, making that clicking sound. We have stuff like dal, rice, spices, and cleaning supplies piled up. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a bit while we unload, which can be a mess. It is a local life, nothing too exciting. We know most of the people living around the housing board by their first names. They come in for a small packet of tea or some sugar and stay to talk about the weather for a few minutes. The floors get a bit dusty because of the traffic on Chopasni Road, but we try to sweep it out when things get quiet. It is just a regular provision store doing its thing every day from morning until the shutters go down at night.
