Purvi Creation

We are based out in Basni 2nd Phase, which is more of an industrial kind of area. Purvi Creation isn't a shop where you go to browse for fun; it's more of a workspace. The air around here is usually full of the sounds of other workshops and the smell of fabric. Inside our place, it's mostly about the work. We have large tables for cutting cloth and several stations where the work gets done. It can be quite loud when everyone is working at once, and there are always scraps of material on the floor. We spend our days looking at patterns and making sure the pieces fit together right. It's a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it by now. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break to sit on the stools and talk about anything other than work. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing with the needles and thread. It gets very hot in the summer because of the tin roofs nearby, but we have a couple of large fans that help a bit. People come to us when they need specific things made in bulk or have a particular order. We just focus on keeping the machines running and getting the batches finished on time without any big fuss. It is hard work, but we have a good rhythm going.
