Baba Ramdev Trading Company

Baba Ramdev Trading Company is out in Udat Village, which is in the Bap Tehsil of Jodhpur District. We are situated right near the Hanuman Mandir, so most people use the temple as a landmark to find us. Being out in the village means life is a bit slower than in the big city. We handle a lot of different trading goods, mostly things that the local farmers and residents need. The shop is a simple building where we keep our stock. Sometimes we have a lot of stuff piled up, and other times we are waiting for the next truck to arrive. It is a long way for the delivery drivers to come, so we have to plan ahead. We know everyone in the village and they know us. It is the kind of place where people stop by just to chat for a few minutes while they are out. We don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook and some grit. The heat in Jodhpur can be really something, so we keep the shop as cool as we can. We are just a local family business trying to make a living and serve the people around Udat. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like being part of the community here near the temple. We just do our best to have what people need when they need it. There’s always work to be done with unloading and organizing.
