Baba Marble And Art Stone

Out at the Stone Park near 9 Mile in Mandore, we’ve got our workshop called Baba Marble And Art Stone. It’s located at Plot No. G-45. We do a mix of things here, from basic marble slabs to more detailed art stone work. It’s a bit out of the main city, but the Stone Park is where most of the craftsmen are. We spend a lot of time working with our hands, carving or shaping pieces that people want for their homes or projects. The yard is filled with scraps and half-finished projects. It’s not the neatest place, but that’s how a real stone shop looks. We get quite a bit of dust on everything, so we’re always cleaning off the surfaces to see the patterns in the stone. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us by word of mouth or by driving out to Mandore. It’s a peaceful enough area compared to the center of town. We take our time with the art pieces because you can’t rush stone work. If you make a mistake, you usually have to start over with a fresh block. We just focus on the craft and making sure the finish is decent enough for the customers. It’s a simple life out here at 9 Mile, just cutting and carving away at whatever stone comes into the shop for the day.
