B Mart Departmental Store is on Banar Road in the Banar area of Jodhpur. We are quite easy to find because we are located right near Rana Marbles. The pincode for this area is 342027. Jodhpur is known to many as the blue city, but out here on Banar Road, it is more about the open space and the new buildings coming up lately. We call ourselves a departmental store because we try to keep a bit more variety than just a small kirana shop would. We have different sections for snacks, toiletries, and all the basic kitchen staples. The sun in Rajasthan is always very strong, so we have big shades out front to try and keep the store a bit cool. Inside, we have rows of shelves that we keep as organized as possible, though things often get moved around by customers. We see a lot of people who are building new houses nearby or people who are just driving along Banar Road. It’s a bit different from the cramped shops in the old city areas. We have more room to move around here. We spend our time checking the expiry dates on products and talking to the distributors who come by in their delivery vans. It’s a practical business for us. We aren't doing anything fancy or revolutionary. We just want to make sure that when someone from Banar comes in looking for a particular brand of flour or a certain detergent, we have it for them.
