Attal Marbles

Our business, Attal Marbles, is situated at No 1-S-14 in Madhuban Colony, Basni. We are quite close to the Polytechnic College, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Jodhpur is a place where marble is a big deal, and we have been part of that trade for some time. We don't have a massive warehouse, but we keep a decent selection of stone on hand. It’s a lot of heavy work moving the slabs around. We have to be careful not to crack them, which is always a worry. Most of the time, it’s just us and a few helpers moving things and showing people what we have. We don't use any high-pressure sales talk. We just let the stone speak for itself and tell people what the price is. Sometimes the slabs have natural flaws, and we point those out because we don't want any surprises later. The yard gets quite hot in the summer, but that’s just life in Basni. We have a small desk where we handle the bills and talk to the customers. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when we are cutting or polishing something. We've stayed in this location because we like the community and it’s easy for the local contractors to reach us. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to do right by the people who walk in.
