Ashray Farms Private Limited is situated out on Siddh Nath Road in Jodhpur. It’s right across from Nirali Dhani, which is a landmark most people use to find their way out here. The road is often a bit dusty because of the desert wind, and you can see the Siddh Nath Mandir from certain spots nearby. Being a farm business, we spend more time thinking about the weather and the soil than most people in the city do. The air out here feels a bit different than it does in the middle of Jodhpur. It is more open and you can actually see the horizon. Our office is practical because it has to be. We are dealing with land and crops, so there’s no room for being fancy. Most of the people who come by are either workers or folks from the nearby areas. We keep things simple at Ashray Farms. You might find some mud on the floor if it rained recently or if someone just came in from the fields. It is a quiet existence for the most part, following the seasons as they change. Siddh Nath Mandir Road can get a bit busy during festival times when people are heading to the temple, but otherwise, it is just the sound of the wind and the occasional tractor passing by. We like the pace of things here. It feels honest and steady.
