A. V. Marble & Granite

A. V. Marble & Granite is located at G-618, right on the corner of 9th Road in the Basni II Phase of the M.I.A. area. It’s a corner spot, so we get a good bit of visibility from the street. The area is quite industrial, which fits what we do perfectly. Moving big pieces of stone requires a lot of space and heavy lifting, and we have enough room here to manage that. The yard can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, which is pretty common around here. We spend most of our time out there checking the stock or helping load things onto trucks. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for very long. We’ve got a small office on the site for the paperwork, but it’s mostly just for keeping the files in order. The sun hits this corner pretty hard in the afternoons, making it quite hot, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been at this location for a good many years. Most of our neighbors are also in the industrial trade, so there’s a lot of heavy machinery noise throughout the day. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything. We just put the stone out where people can see the quality of the slabs. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business, just focusing on the material and getting it out the door. We stay busy with the local projects mostly.
