The J.K.Cement Works unit here in Lucknow is located at Laherpur House. It is a well-known spot because we are right opposite Era Medical College in Sarfarazganj. This part of Lucknow is always moving, especially with the college right across the street. There are always students, ambulances, and local traffic passing by our front door. Laherpur House has a bit of a history to it, and it doesn't feel like those glass-and-steel offices you see in the newer parts of the city. It’s a more traditional building, which suits the way we work. We aren't trying to be overly corporate or polished. We just have our desks set up and we handle the business as it comes. The area of Sarfarazganj can get quite crowded, so getting to work in the morning can be a bit of a challenge if you don't leave early. We have a small team here, and we mostly keep to ourselves, focusing on the administrative side of the cement business for this region. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have any big missions or slogans on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs and then head back into the Lucknow traffic at the end of the day. If you can find Era Medical College, you’ve basically found us, as we are right there in Laherpur House.
