Lakshmanpura Farmer Producer Companylimited

We operate out of House Number 524 in the village of Laxmanpura. It is right near the post office in Kharkari Makhwan. If you are looking for us, you just head into the village and anyone can point you to the house. We started this farmer producer group because the small farmers in our village needed a way to talk to the bigger markets. Most of us grew up right here on these lands. Farming is what we know. We do not have a big corporate building, just a room where we keep our records and meet up to discuss the seeds or the fertilizers we need for the next season. It is a lot of sitting around and talking over tea about which way the rain might go this year. We handle the collective buying and selling so that the individual farmer does not get a bad price. It is not always easy and sometimes there are disagreements about how to run things, but we are all neighbors so we figure it out eventually. The village is small and everyone is involved in some way or another. We just try to keep things honest and straightforward. There are no big secrets here, just people working the land and trying to make a living for their families. We have been here for years and we do not plan on going anywhere else. It is just how life goes in Laxmanpura.
