Alamsher Alam

I’m Alamsher, the son of Iliyas Ali Khan. We stay in Madansar village, which falls under the Bhimsar post office in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, zip code 333001. Things are pretty quiet out here most of the time. Most of the days go by just taking care of the work that comes up and keeping the place running. It’s a small community where everyone knows everyone else. I’ve been around this area my whole life. My father used to do things a certain way, and I’m just trying to keep that going while handling my own stuff. There isn't much to say about us that is fancy. We just wake up, get to work, and see what the day brings. Sometimes the weather in Rajasthan gets a bit much, especially during the summer, but you get used to it after so many years. The shop or office, whatever you want to call it, is just a part of the house really. People stop by when they need something, and we talk for a bit. It’s not like those big companies in the cities. We don’t have a big team or anything, just us family members helping out. It’s honest work. I spend a lot of time just making sure the records are right and the locals are satisfied with what we do.
