Rajeev Gen. Store

Our shop is Rajeev Gen. Store and you can find us on Hanuman Mandir Road. We are right in the Raghunath Market area, which is part of Deoria Sadar R.S. in Gorakhpur. It’s a busy spot because of the temple nearby. We sell all the usual things people need for their homes like rice, lentils, and different types of spices. We also keep some snacks and biscuits for the kids who come in with their parents. The store isn't very large, but we try to keep it packed with everything so nobody leaves empty-handed. I’ve been running this place for a while and I know most of the faces that walk through the door. It gets really crowded in the mornings when people are buying things for breakfast. We also have soap, shampoo, and other small household items on the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to find space for everything. We don't have a big staff, it's just me and sometimes a family member helps out when it's busy. The location near the railway station means we get some travelers too. They usually want water or some quick snacks for their journey. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our feet all day long. We open up early and usually stay open until the market starts to quiet down at night. It’s just a regular local shop for the neighborhood and we like it that way.
