Gurjeet Classes

Gurjeet Classes is tucked away in the Ratanpura area of Nagara. It’s a local spot that most people in this part of Jhansi know about. We have a modest setup here. It’s basically just a couple of rooms where we gather to study. The furniture isn't anything to write home about, just some sturdy tables and chairs that get the job done. Every day, students from the Ratanpura neighborhood walk over for their lessons. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything, so we rely on word of mouth from the families who live nearby. The walls have some old posters and some writing on them from years of classes. We spend most of our time going over the basics and helping kids with their schoolwork. It gets a bit crowded during the exam season, and we often have to squeeze in extra chairs. There’s always a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, but we just wipe the desks and keep going. We don’t have air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. It’s an honest place where the focus is just on the books. We know the names of almost everyone who walks through the door. It feels more like a community center than a formal school, and that’s just fine with us. There is an old wooden cupboard where we keep all the records from the past.
