If you are ever in Jhalawar and you go past the Government Hospital, you will see our place right across the road. We have been here at Icat for some time now. Jhalawar is a much quieter place compared to the big cities, and we actually prefer it that way. Our office is very simple. We have some old wooden furniture and a few computers that have definitely seen better days. It gets quite hot during the summer months, so we have to keep the ceiling fans going at full speed all day. Most of our work involves dealing with the local folks and handling all the paperwork that comes with running a business. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. We just want to make sure that whatever task we are doing is done the right way. Sometimes the cows wander right up to our front door and we have to go out and shoo them away. It is just part of being in this particular neighborhood. We know most of the people who work at the hospital across the road because they often come over for tea at the small stall nearby. We are just a small part of the community here. We don't spend any money on advertising because everyone already knows where we are. We just open up the doors in the morning and see what happens.
