About Rao Ghisha Ram English Medium School – Education in Jhajjar
We are located out in Village Singhana. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when the school bell rings. Rao Ghisha Ram English Medium School has been part of the village life for a good while now. People know us as the place on the main path where the kids gather in their uniforms. The building is simple, just concrete and paint, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of teachers talking and kids shuffling their papers. Singhana is where we all live and work, so we see the parents at the market or just walking around. We don't have big city facilities, but we have enough rooms for the different grades. The playground is just a patch of ground where they play during the recess. It gets dusty when the wind picks up, but the kids don't seem to mind much. We spend a lot of time just making sure the books are covered and the lessons are finished on time. It’s a basic English medium setup. We don't try to be something we aren't. Mostly, it's just about the daily routine of teaching and learning in a village setting. There are some trees near the entrance that give a bit of shade in the afternoons. It’s just a normal school day here every day, nothing more, nothing less. We just keep at it because there is always more to learn and the village life suits us just fine.
