About R E D Senior Secondary School – Education in Jhajjar
It’s been a while since we started here in Chhuchhakwas. The school is right on the main stretch in Jhajjar. We have a lot of kids coming in every morning from the nearby villages. It gets pretty noisy when the bell rings, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our time keeping the classrooms tidy and making sure the blackboards are ready. The playground is dusty but the kids don't seem to mind much. We've got a few old trees near the gate that provide some shade for the buses. The staff room is usually full of notebooks and tea cups. Some days are long, especially during exams, but we manage. People know us around here because we've been part of the landscape for years. We just try to keep things running smoothly. The windows need a bit of oiling sometimes, and the courtyard gets a lot of sun in the afternoon. We don't have fancy carpets or anything like that. Just plain floors and wooden desks that have seen many classes. It feels like a second home for most of us who work here. We see the same faces every day and watch the students grow up until they finish their senior secondary years. It’s just a regular place where teaching happens. We don’t have big fancy signs, just the one at the entrance. The local tea stall is where we go after school.
