You can find Siena Engineering Pvt. Ltd. over at Plot 22 in Sector III of Pithampur. This area is mostly factories and industrial units. It’s a long way from the main city, but it’s where all the manufacturing happens. Our building is a standard industrial shed. Inside, there is a lot of machinery and the smell of cutting oil. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly making parts and fixing things. It’s a loud place when everything is running. The floors are concrete and they get stained with grease over time, but that’s normal for a shop like ours. We have a small office section where we keep the drawings and the computer. Most of the guys are out on the floor for most of the shift. Pithampur gets really dry and dusty, so we are always cleaning the machines to keep them in good shape. It’s hard work and the days can be long when we have a big project to finish. We don’t really have any fancy amenities. There is a place nearby where we get lunch, and that’s about it. We’ve been in this sector for a while and we know the routine. It’s about getting the specs right and making sure the parts fit. We just come in, do the work, and go home at the end of the day. It is what it is.
