Shree Ram Poha Co.

Shree Ram Poha Co is based out in Tindwara, right near Narayani Road. It is a bit of a drive to get here, but it is a good spot for a mill. We are surrounded by open space and a few other small businesses along the road. The location on Narayani Road makes it easy for the farmers to bring their produce to us. Our day starts very early, often before the sun is fully up, so we can get the machines warmed up and ready. The process of making poha involves a lot of steps, and we are usually moving between the soaking vats and the roasting units all day. It is physically demanding work, and the heat from the furnaces can be quite intense. We don't have a polished showroom or anything like that. It is just a functional factory space where we focus on the task at hand. The floors are often dusty, and there are bags of grain stacked up to the roof in some places. We have a small team, and we mostly just talk about the weather and the crop prices while we work. It is a quiet life in Tindwara, away from the rush of the big towns. We just try to keep our machines running smoothly and make sure the bags are filled and stitched correctly before they go out. That is really all there is to our daily routine here.
